PrecisionAlmostEqualRelativeT(MatrixT, MatrixT, Int32) Method

Compares two matrices and determines if they are equal to within the specified number of decimal places or not. If the numbers are very close to zero an absolute difference is compared, otherwise the relative difference is compared.

Parameters

a  MatrixT
The first value.
b  MatrixT
The second value.
decimalPlaces  Int32
The number of decimal places.

The type of the values being compared.

Return Value

Boolean
if the matrices are almost equal under relative comparison; otherwise, .

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type MatrixT. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
